Waitng is the hardest part of these contests for me. I like it when I submit a video and quickly after I know if I have won or not. lately most of the contests i have enteed are extending their deadlines like this one for spyzooka:
I got it in on the last day of the contest, to find they extended it until Dec 15th, then voting then more waiting to find out. I am just really impatient (Julie will confrim that)!
But Waitng pays off. Yesterday i was announced as the #1 vote getter for the brown bailout contest!! it's kind of excitng because the video was my first real attempt at animation. I submitted it seconds before the submittion phase was over. it is not a finished work in my mind but i guess good enough for the prize.
In reality this contest was a bit unfair, and had nothing to do with skill but rather how much time you were willing to spend casting votes. You can check out my winning video here http://www.brownbailout.com/contest/vote-for-your-brown-bailout-video/?video=54
One more thing!! I have submitted an entry to the Global summit video contest. My vision for humanity. this is another one that i cut short the production to get the video submitted in time, just to find they extended the deadline. I tried some new things here. http://www.globalsummit.org/contest/
Please tell me what you think.
my video is about the foruth one down. Tilted a vision for The future of humanity by Josbo26.
Vote for it daily too!! I am hoping to win the audience award!!
I have another win to post but need to wait till it is offically announceed so check back soon.
